Question: I am 12 years old and i have some sort of coldsore on my lip... is it herpes?
I thought i bit my lip during sleep and the next day it was swolen and i bit it a bit then the next day it became a yellowish bubble like sore. is it possible i gave myself herpes? how long will it take for this to get off my lip?

No it isn't the STD form of Herpes, it is a viral form of herpes that everyone gets, it will come and go similar to a pimple. There is no need to worry, you do not have an STD and there will be no harm to your body.
