how can I make my aspergers symptoms less severe?!

Question: How can I make my aspergers symptoms less severe?
I was diagnosed with asperger's syndrome (high functioning autism) at age 3. I don't really have any sensitivities to sound or light but making friends is difficult. I have a few good friends but I'm always the more quiet one in the group if me and 2 other people are hanging out for example. Small talk is becoming a bit easier and so is eye contact because I'm practicing them on a website called omegle which is a place where you have a web cam and you talk to different strangers. I want to know if there are any dietary improvements or ways I can make the symptoms just about unnoticeable?

I have heard of the Gluten-Free Diet for Aspergers (I am an Aspie too) but I myself haven't mustered the will to go that route. Many parents do advocate that plan for their Asperger children.

For the small talk, I understand what you mean. I also have another problem that you may or may not have as well. When another person and myself are talking, I can usually converse just fine. When it is a group of three or four or more, I find that I have problems keeping up with the conversation, I am more fixated on a subject and most people I talk to are NTs and they can bounce around from subject to subject with ease.

Also, I usually don't have spontaneous comebacks, I have to hear what is being said, process it and then come up with a response. By the time I formulate a response, I typically fall two or three comments behind in a large conversation, thus relegating myself to the 'quiet one', even if I don't feel like being quiet. I don't have that problem communicating on the internet though.

Something, I thought I would throw out there.

Another way I made the symptoms less severe was by taking an anti-depressant Lexapro 10mg a day for depression and anxiety. Lexapro has helped my social skills and eye contact considerably.
