Can I change my earring after 1week?!

Question: Can I change my earring after 1week?
I pierced my ears at claire's on saturday and my left ear started like hurt/itch.
and I feel like the earring needle is too short because i feel like my left ear
is swollen and no room for the needle to move like out and in, you know?
Is it okay if i buy a different real gold/silver earring and replace it? because i feel like
it won't be good if i keep this one in. I've been cleaning them morning and night everyday
since i got it pierced. i even just took my left earring out and cleaned it with the solution
stuff they gave me. and i just put it back on.

You could, but changing your earrings early isn't recommended. Some degree of itching and swelling is normal for the first few days. It wouldn't hurt to check with a professional piercer, though, to make sure you don't have a problem with the earring shape, size, or metal. It doesn't have to be the same person who pierced your ears. I recommend getting professional advice before you do anything yourself.

By doing that you risk infection, but as long as you wash your hands before you do the exchange, clean the new earring with rubbing alcohol, and use the rub thing on your ears you will most likely be fine, but you never know.

I NEVER took my earrings out when i got them pierced, and somehow they became infected, so i mean there is a possibility of infection now matter what you do

I also got my ears pierced at Claire's and the schedule they gave me showed that after one week, you can change your earrings out. Just make sure you put the new earring right back in.

Claire's

if its too short then ya but use real gold or silver cuz the fake will give you an infection...
