Can I spread mono if its already in remission?!

Question: Can I spread mono if its already in remission?
I had mono in november 2008 (was dating a bad girl and she got it from her bisexual friend whos a girl) Anyways its been over 3 years ive had no relapse of it can i still spread it? because my current girlfriend ( who knows ive had mono) has a sore throat which i think could be mono and shes been extremely tired and feverish for like a week. Is it possible that i could have given it to her with it being 3 years since ive gotten over mono?

Most EBV-infected ( mono) people continue to excrete the virus continuously or intermittently for prolonged periods of time. Another important point to remember, as far as virus-mediated disease is concerned, is that most adults have already been exposed to the virus during childhood. Reactivation of the virus can happen when the immune system is weakened by a cold or other sickness and the EBV (mono virus) will be excreted by your saliva.

So yes you can given her mono, but so could have anyone she drank, ate after or kissed.
Me and my bf starting going out right after I was sick with mono... he has never gotten sick or had mono in his life. That was 5-6 years ago :] Some people are just lucky and never get it.

Life ... I had mono twice. 2nd time was almost admitted to a hospital. Was sick for 4 months and hated life.
