Question: What are the symptoms of the flu?
I have a low fever (99.7), sore throat, stomach pains, I can't sleep, coughing like crazy.... And my brother just got over having the flu.... I just wanted to know the symptoms of the flu and does this sound like I have the flu?

Fever, headache, cough, aches and pains, and extreme tiredness. Sometimes a sore throat as well. Chills and sweats are common, too.
It does sound like you might have caught the flu. If so, you're in for a couple of days of misery, which you should spend resting in bed (you'll be too tired to do anything else, anyway). It will go away on its own in a week or so, although you might have a cough for several weeks afterwards.
