Question: HELP!! What is this on my face?

I have had this thing on my face for awhile now, probably 3 weeks to a month. It is usually crusted over but it is pretty painful when touched and tonight I scratched my face and accidentally scratched this thing. It bleeds very watered down blood if I squeeze it and now it has turned into this dark, red, purple colored thing. It looks like something is under my skin, before it was just slightly darker because it was crusted over but now that I have scratched the surface off this nasty thing is revealed. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? Should I get it checked?

it could be an ingrowing hair. You'd better have it checked before it starts to fester.

it basically is a Hippocratic scar or keloid scar.. (a scar tissue which is not overly healed)
its better not to touch it and first checked a dermatologist and if the doc recommend seeing a plastic surgeon then thats better...

it be removed if you want by surgery OR you can let it appear less by using streloid injections on it !

be sure not to touch it will increase !

In my opinion, you are your own best jude. If you think it needs to be checked out, go and get it checked out. It's usually the best thing to do if you have any concerns like that. Better to be safe than sorry of course.
