Question: I know I already have Carpal Tunnel, but it is possible to still get arthritis at the base of my thumb?
I have been diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel in the past, but the base of my right thumb has slight pain when I try to adjust my seat belt and when I put my hair up in a ponytail.

Yes it is, I have had both since before I was 50 years old.
You would need to have an a x-ray to tell for sure that it's not a flare up in the carpal tunnel.



sure. i have it. it is not common with younger people. i,ve never had carpal tunnel. i,m 64.
