Is it possible to have stomach flu without vomiting?!

Question: Is it possible to have stomach flu without vomiting?
Yesterday I was sitting in my class and around 2 I got really bad stomach cramps. They lasted well into the evening and overnight. I tried tums and pepto both of which didn't help at all. I haven't had much of an appetite.

I had bad diarrhea once last night. And the cramps didn't get better.

I feel like throwing up but I haven't.

Also I JUST had the stomach flu two weeks ago and it cane out both ends.

If anyone knows if it's possible for ne to have it again without vomiting let me know. Also any advice to stop the cramps. They are driving me crazy. :(

*I took a warm bath and that didn't help

yup. You almost always have diareah. You cant really do anyhting with the virus other than just riding it out and let it take its course. You can maybe reduce the nausea by taking medicine but thats all that you can do. Its more easier to prevent than treat. Make sure the next time stay away from contaminated food and WASH YOU HANDS! ESPECIALLY AFTER THE BATHROOM! It would also be nice before every meal. But you probably have the stomach flu. Drink plenty of fluids and rest and you will be better in no time. :)

Yes, it is possible to have a stomach virus & have only diarrhea and not nausea or vomiting. However, if you're still having cramps you should have a doctor check you to make sure nothing else is going on.

it could be constipation i no you said you had Daria but it is quite common to have both at once i guess the watery **** can flow around the stuck **** but it is quite common believe me

who are you to question my source
