Accu-Chek meter error?!

Question: Accu-Chek meter error?
For some reason my accu-chek is wrongly registering my test strips as expired, even though they still have another 6 months before they expire. I have ensured the date on my meter is correct (date, year and time). A new code and pack of strips, with a year left before they expire are still registering as error E5 (code expired). This means I have been unable to check my glucose levels and as a result have been very ill. Is there any way to troubleshoot this or will I have to get a new meter?

You don't say which specific Accu-Chek meter it is that you're using, my friend, but have you changed the code key, which indicates a new batch of test strips?

Accu-Chek do have a Customer Care Center that you can call, too. The telephone number is: 1-800-858-8072.

The following web page states:

"Remember, the ACCU-CHEK Customer Care Center is available to answer your product questions 24 hours a day—every day. Call
1-800-858-8072. Software support is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Eastern Time."

I do hope you get things sorted.
