Grip exercises - Carpal Tunnel Syndrome?!

Question: Grip exercises - Carpal Tunnel Syndrome?
If I'm right then carpal tunnel syndrome is where if the tendons swell or get thicker they don't have enough room to move properly so if I start to do exercises to improve my grip won't that thicken the tendons? and if it will doesn't that make CTS more likely?

Any repetitive moves that you repeat (double repeat there) on a regular basis can cause CTS.
Grip exercises should thicken the muscles or bulk them up not actually effect the tendons.
You need to fully understand CTS to work out if what you are doing will cause it.
Mine goes crazy just by typing.
