Is anyone willing to take a look at my ECG and assess the machine diagnosis of &!

Question: Is anyone willing to take a look at my ECG and assess the machine diagnosis of "probable posterior infarct"?
I was hospitalized for four days for a confirmed CVA. The hospitalist recommended a referral to a cardiologist, as well as a neurologist, be made by my PCP. My PCP has declined the cardiology referral stating he can't think of a justification to do that for a CVA. However, I got a copy of my hospital records which makes references to "probable posterior infarct" and "backside prior infarct" on two ECGs and "prior posterior infarct" in the ER physician's report.

If there is someone qualified to read an ECG that would be willing to take a look at mine to aid me in deciding if I should press for that referral I would sure appreciate your help.

Thanks.

Where is the ecg?
Have you mentioned this to your doctor?
You are allowed to, and should ask questions
It may be a minor old change that does not need cardiology.
A cardiologist will only deal with ongoing problems

PCP cannot keep you from a 2nd opinion its heart its cardiology! i'd call your HMO and tel them they can look into it, the ER Dr. can speak to him. i told my PCP i'm seeing a cardiologist he agreed its heart specialty not PCP general issue

do you need referral? change pcp dr.

CVA stands for cerebral vascular accident or in other words stroke. What does your heart have to do with that? If you have had an infarct or damage to the heart muscle in the back of the heart I still don't get the connection and neither does the doc.
