Question: Recently my 5.5 yeras old son has been detected through EEG test "Abscence Seasor", it is a form of epilepcy.?
one of the doctors suggesting not give him banana and egg. as he is very fond of egg, if we give him egg once or twice in a month, can it be harmful?

It is a form of epilepsy that occurs in children.
It consists of spells or episodes of 'blankness' or transient loss of consciousness.It is treated with drugs like valproic acid , Clonazepam etc.,
Bananas contain tryptophan which gets converted to Serotonin which is mood elevator and acts on nervous system and perhaps might impede or adversely affect antiepileptic therapy.
Anti epileptics induce Biotin deficiency many times and consumption of eggs might aggravate it.
Thus my friend, sorry NO EGGS OR BANANAS till your doc says yes!
