Nighttime fevers ? Not going away. It's been 4 days. ?!

Question: Nighttime fevers ? Not going away. It's been 4 days. ?
Hi. I'm 19 years old. No I don't smoke. And no I normally am not sick like this. I'm normally a very healthy girl with nothing more than a cold. So anyways. On Friday, I had a really bad cough, which was irritating my throat. On saturday, my cough worsened. So I started taking theraflu for it. From then on, I have been taking theraflu as directed. But starting on Saturday, I would get fevers at night and they would break by midnight. Sunday and Monday rolled by, on Sunday, my sinuses were beginning to clog up. And I ended up with a sinus infection. Today is Thursday. I missed school yesterday because of my nighttime fevers and I was generally feeling achy. Since my condition was worsening, I didn't take any chance and I went to the doctor. I told him all of this. He told me that i have rhinosinusitis. He gave me z PAC and sent me on my way. I took my first dosage last night and my fever did not break still. And I need it to break in 2 hours or less because I have exams coming up at school. My question is, what can I do to get better? Please , I'm a 19 year old girl in high school looking for ways to get better so I can go back to school.

Please go the emergency room of your local hospital. A continuous fever means your body is telling you something, perhaps that you have an infection that you are not aware of. The doctor gave you something that did not work. Go to the hospital and they will do blood work, run some tests and tell you exactly wahat's wrong. Good luck.
