Are you talking real writers cramp? Writers cramp is a neurological condition and is a type of dystonia. The hand cramps into a position that will not move while writing. This happen immediately whenever that person tries to write and can happen if they even think of writing. To relieve the cramp usually requires the person to use their other hand to remove the pen from the cramping hand.

The best treatment is to partially paralyze the muscles in the back of the arm. This is done by injecting Botox into the muscles. The exact problem muscles are located using an electronic devise that senses the current in the arm. Only movement disorder neurologists do this so you will first have to go to a regular neurologist to get a referral and then to your movement disorder center (usually at large hospitals). Other drugs are sometimes used including anti Parkinson's drugs. These do not work as well and have side affects. If your writers cramp is bad, then you will never be able to write well (maybe a couple of words with treatment) and will need to type everything. You may need to get a stamper with your signature on it to sign your name. The botox does help a lot and insurance will pay for it. (We are talking real botox not botox cosmetic.)

Writers cramp is a debilitating disorder and I hope you are not just complaining that your hand get tired.

As far as doctors and addresses any major hospital (at least in the US) will have a movement disorder center. Just google it. If there is no center by that name, then look for Parkinson's Disease. They are not really related but the same doctors that treat both. If you want a random name, I go to Dr. Molho at Albany Medical College (NY)>

take a magnesium and potassium supplement... just don't overdose (take as directed). magnesium and potassium helps against muscle cramps.
