There is no simple answer to this question as there are many types of diabetes complications and all would have differents symptoms.

Untreated diabetes symptoms, unquenchable thirst, freqent urination, loss of weight, tiredness, lack of energy, blurry vision, and keytosis. Severe muscle cramps in calf muscles, bilateral retinopathy, diabetic neuropathy, furring up of arteries[high bloodsugars] peripheral vascular disease, ankle swelling[difficulty walking], and eventually coma. Hope this helps.

personal experience, do as your dr. says, take your medication, stick to diets, exercise and don't think you are invincible, and then you can live life to the full.

Sugar too high = loss of conscienceness. Sugar too low = feeling tired, weak, cold and clammy and loss of conscienceness.
