Question: My nose is always red and oily. It's been this way for 5 years. Why? What can I do for it?
My dermatologist says Rosacea, but for some reason all the medication he's tried for Rosacea to help make the symptoms tone down aren't helping at all...
I personally think that it has something to do with the fact that when I was younger, I would constantly get sunburned on my nose, and I would peel it like a mad man... So could it be skin damage?...
What do you think, and what do you think I can do for it to make the redness tone down? It's making me really self conscious.
Answers:
Skinmedica has a brand new product called Redness Relief Calmplex. It works for any kind of redness problem. It just replaces moisturizer in your skincare regimen. You might not want to use toner if you have been, because using that with redness relief calmplex can cause irritation.
Put redness relief on twice a day and you should see results in a few weeks.
As for oil, try neutrogena's foaming face wash, or skinmedica's purifying face wash.
Also, wear sunscreen if you haven't been already. Sun damage can really age you!
i would of said rosacea, but, maybe it is sun burn damage hmm..dont know what to do, a dermatologist may be able to lessen it
