Question: How to get over this cold fast?
Been sick for 6 days, extreme sore throat, insane cough, sinus pain! Keeps getting worse, went to doctor and he said to take cough medicine and drink plenty of fluids. Been taking Cold FX, cough syrup, cold and sinus tablets, tylenol, using vick's vapo rub, taking vitamins, lozenges, teas, staying warm, resting a lot, and still no improvement! what can i do to get over this fast???

1. do not EVER take so many different medicines in one day, it is EXTREMELY dangerous to your liver and stomach because of the different ingredients in the medicines and how they react with eachother.
2. Eat lots of garlic (fresh, not powder)
3. Drink tea with lemon juice frequently (just put a lemon slice in your tea cup)
Old remedies
go to a different doctor...
maybe a ear nose and throat specialist
they probably can get you some really good stuff
feel better soon!
