Can multiple lengthy bubble baths cause raw, burning vagina?!

Question: Can multiple lengthy bubble baths cause raw, burning vagina?
Recently, I have been taking bubble baths to relax. In the last week or two I have taken about 4 bubble baths and sat in the tub for about an hour each time. Can this alone lead to a burning, raw (with some lesions) vaginal area? I have never had a UTI or yeast infection, so this is entirely new to me. I am hoping it is just a yeast infection or other infection that will go away soon. I know bubble baths can lead to such things, but I had never had any problems before. It is painful to urinate - it feels like alcohol on an open wound down there because I am sure the urine is touching the raw areas. The area also appears a little swollen. I purchased some vagisil to lessen the itching/burning and it helps a bit, until I have to urinate again. Any suggestions besides going to the doctor? Thanks!

i have always been told that depending on what type of bubble bath you use, it can lead to a UTI. (usually the cheaper one's but any will cause it) and expecially if you use a fair amount .its the chemicals in the bubble bath. deffinatly stop using that bubble bath imediatley and you should go vist the gynocologist because they can give you medication to clear up the infecton (it sounds exactly like a UTI, these can last a long time). next time you want a relaxing bath try some bath salts or only very small amount of bubble bath

Could be the soap your using! Stop using it and see if the condition gets better!

Yeah the bubblebath your using is probably the culprit.

My mother always told me bubblebaths were bad for our coochies.

Bubble bath, bubble bath
how much fun!
Bubble bath, bubble path
pain in the puss

There are lots and lots and lots of different varieties of bacteria that live in your vaginal area. These bacterium are nothing to fear, they are completely normal. A healthy vagina is one that is filled with all of those types of bacteria. When you overwash yourself, you wash away those bacteria as well. I suspect that would be the reason behind your irritation. Your vagina has lost something that it needs. Stop washing yourself down there for a few days, and you should return to normal. If it doesn't change or gets worse then you should go see a doctor. But i think after a few days of leavin' that lady alone, then she'll perk back up again!
