Quitting Smoking and feeling sleepy?!

Question: Quitting Smoking and feeling sleepy?
Hi ! I quitted smoking cold turkey about 3 weeks ago . I' m 34 years old and have been smoking for 20 years. wow...scary hoe time flies. Its been one week that i feel very tired. I sleep 11 hours a night lately, (thank god my son is on march brake from school ), but is still enough. I take naps 3 or 4 times during the day . Can anybody tell me if this is a normal withdrawal symptom?

Answers:

I don't believe it is a side effect, but a coping mechanism.
Should go see your doctor.........but what ever it is.........do not smoke.

I have end stage copd, and can die any time.............thanks to my many years of smoking.

Keep fighting the good fight..............your future grandchildren ..........thank you.

The Almighty God, and my years of dealing with my illness.

No, you usually get really irritable after you quit and overall feel better eventually. Should give yourself another week then see a doctor if you still have this problem.

No its not a reported side effect of quitting .. but it may well be your minds way of coping with the lack of Nicotine .. after all , no one smokes when they are asleep
WELL DONE On Stopping Smoking
