Cancer? Any answers r much appreicated?!

Question: Cancer? Any answers r much appreicated?
I just had surgery today because I had a cyst under an impacted wisdom tooth. I had both removed..I had to get an iv and that thing that goes in ur nostrils around ur neck (im 13 idk what its called) and a blood pressure thing and a thing that clips on ur finger..but they sent the cyst to the pathologist..do you think there's a chance it could be cancer? Excuse my misunderstanding of the terms for these things..

Answers:

Don't worry. There is no chance that it is cancer. It is standard procedure to send everything that is surgically removed to a pathologist - even if it is abundantly clear, that it is not cancer.

I am a pathologist.

I doubt any answers have changed since last time you asked.

A cyst is not cancer.

You had better go see your cancer doctor...
