Is cancer airborne? Do you get it by breathing the air?!

Question: Is cancer airborne? Do you get it by breathing the air?
Answers:

Not contagious. Not airborne.
Biggest risk factor is age.
Next biggest risk factor is bad luck.
Next biggest risk factor is smoking.
After that comes things like excessive UV exposure, chemical exposure, poor diet, lack of exercise, alcohol abuse, radiation exposure etc.
Genetics is a factor in less than 10% of cases.

Add: the only way breathing increases your risk is if there are carcinogenic airborne contaminants, eg: asbestos, radon gas, benzene, etc.

In 1st world society anyone working in these conditions would be given a suitable mask to wear under our occupational health and safety laws.

Well - most people who breathe air don't get cancer. You might like to read this blog entry on risk factors for cancer development: http://www.cancerhelp.org.uk/about-cance…

the f*k. It's not contageous. There are genetic and life-style traits that are still being determined.

Not at all. You CANNOT get any type of cancer by being around someone who has it, which includes breathing the same air.
