my 9 mnth old boy was diagnosed with measles today, yet he is immunized for MMR?!
Question: My 9 mnth old boy was diagnosed with measles today, yet he is immunized for MMR?
Answers:
You shouldn't have wasted your time giving your kids the immunizations. Back before the health care system started scaring everyone into injecting drugs into their body, some things - such as the measles - were as common as the common cold (like my wordplay there?). Kids caught the measles and they got over them. The only side affect was that they were then naturally immunized.
It wouldn't hurt kids today to go through the same process: measles, chicken pox, mumps - the whole childhood disease gambit. These are natural immunizations that carry over into adult life.
Hey - you're kinda cute. Ever get to Chicago?
When was your son immunized for MMR? If it was less than a month ago then even an immunization cannot prevent measles. Once a child is immunized, it takes between 2 weeks and a month to develop the antibodies against measles. If he catches the virus before these antibodies develop he can still get the disease. Before he gets immunized, the antibodies in this blood come from his mother from when he was still in the womb. So if you weren't immunized it gives him a higher risk of contracting measles. It is not the health departments fault, every vaccine has a protocol and they are just following it. They cannot give this vaccine before 6-9 months because since the child's immune system is not developed and hence cannot for antibodies.

Not surprising at all.

"Our children's bodies have no inherent physiological requirement for repeated injections of live or killed viruses or bacteria mixed with toxic preservatives and adjuvants. They can live remarkably healthy lives without vaccines. But they cannot be healthy without adequate levels of naturally-occurring vitamin D."
