What is causing this -- itching, bug bite like marks... ?!

Question: What is causing this -- itching, bug bite like marks... ?
Well I started noticing what I thought were bites last night, before I had went to bed. New ones just seemed to keep popping up on my legs, stomach, and even on my ears.. But I couldn't find the bug that was doing it.

So, finally, I ignored it, and went to bed. I woke up with my eye swollen from what looks like a bug bite. My other eye is starting to swell, as well. Bites on my ears, and cheeks. I haven't noticed any new ones on the rest of me -- just lots on my face.

I thought maybe this is an allergic reaction to something, but I haven't had anything new, and I am not allergic to anything that I know of.
Then I thought bed bugs, but I looked online and my bites do not look like bed bug bites.

Answers:

If you have an allergic reaction to any bites bed bugs, spiders, flees, the bumps look different. If they don't look a lot better in 24 hours see your doctor. Wash all bedding in the mean time. Check the seems of you mattress for signs if critters. I spray a solution of 1/2 lemon juice / water 1-2 table spoons of salt. spray fine mist over and under the mattress's and around it. It is a nontoxic way to kill bugs. Acidic, drying, and wont hurt your mattress. Repeat as needed. Let it dry completely before making your bed. This wont be the solution for bed bugs. But wi;ll help.

Do you have any pets? Because they might be flea bites. Also, one time my brother and I slept outside on the trampoline and we woke up with similar symptoms...little bites everywhere...and we just figured it was Mosquitos...but they were tiny and EVERYWHERE...turns out they were mites..dr. gave us some cream and they were gone within 48 hours :) good luck
