Why do I get extremely cold at night?!

Question: Why do I get extremely cold at night?
I understand that everyone's body temperature drops as the day progresses due to slowing metabolism especially closer to bed time. I'm unsure what my temperature drops down too but I'm extremely cold to the touch. I wear extra clothing at night. Have two thick comforters on my bed. This isn't enough! My boyfriend says that I feel like a corpse at night. I don't start warming up until after I've woken up and taken a hot shower (sometimes with lil or no cold water turned on) Any ideas on what is causing this problem?

Answers:

low blood sugar, low blood pressure, and/or nutritional deficiency in iron and vitamin B12 (anemic)

personal experience and I research A LOT about nutrition

Actually, your body temperature will peak by late afternoon/early evening and then start to taper off. You could be anemic or have a vitamin B deficiency. Your doctor can perform a finger prick test in the office to test your iron levels. Either way, a B-complex along with an iron supplement can help with the low body temps. I sometimes use a heating blanket on my side of the bed under the sheet when I become uncomfortable.

Personally anemic.

Amazing! It may help. http://yourcares.info/330164/temperature-drop

perhaps you need a little more fat in your body?
fat helps to keep you warm, so maybe you're really skinny?
i have the same problem, just not as drastic as yours.
Try turning on the heater at night.
