Why is it that a insulin needle sometime,?!

Question: Why is it that a insulin needle sometime,?
Hurts a little and other times absolutely painless, not that any insulin injection ever hurts enough to mention?

Answers:

I think it's because sometimes you don't go in straight with it but at an angle. I have noticed that when I am in a hurry and don't go straight in that it hurts. Sometimes you might also hit a blood vessel or something because it will bleed when most of the time it doesn't. This is just my experiences, I am not a medical person.

Testing hurts WAY worse than the insulin shots, eh?

Never once have I noticed that cold insulin hurts at all. I guess each person sensitivity is different.

It all depends on the area of skin you use. If you hit a nerve you will feel it more than if you miss. The skin on the belly is more sensitive than the skin on the back of the arm. Both are acceptable places for insulin injection.

I occasionally hit either a nerve or a muscle. Then it hurts a bit. Cold insulin always burns like a son!!

Your nerve endings are spaced all over your skin. if you hit one, IT HURTS. if you miss it, it doesn't hurt.

simple as that

That's because our body's are covered with millions of nerves, and nerve endings. Some are more sensitive than others
