Strange stool issues?!

Question: Strange stool issues?
I have noticed that for the last couple of months, my stools have been very abnormal. Sometimes I will have a "normal" stool, but this normally only happens once every couple of weeks. Most of the time I will either have disjointed stools that float, diarhea, or a bunch of toothbrush sized stools that are sometimes really dark in color. I also occasionally **** out what seems to be mucus, like yesterday all i shat out was some yellow thickish mucus and nothing else? I recently found out that I have a few food allergies, the big ones being corn, soy, beef and pork, but is ti likely that consistent abnormal stools are caused just by food allergies?

Answers:

The color/consistency/shape/frequency of your stools is directly related to the foods that you eat. The more fatty the meal, the more often you will have stools that are small, more frequent and with different appearances. The more healthy diet you eat, the more formed and regular they are. And yes, food intolerances can also affect your stools.
