Had blood test and my doctor said there was a slight virus infection but nothin !

Question: Had blood test and my doctor said there was a slight virus infection but nothin to worry about..?
Ive been feelin really ill for the past month, constant feelin sick, she diagnosed me with IBS and said the viral infection that showed up on the blood test is nothin to worry about, but would it be that, that is making me ill??

Answers:

Well ibs itself can make you feel pretty sick so we would need to know what kind of symptoms are there. And same goes for the infection im afraid.Your paper work from the doctor should be able to tell you the blood test results.Once ou have the name of it you can look up symptoms to see if thats it.Good luck.

I do not know why doctors use the phrase 'nothing to worry about' even when that is precisely what they mean.

By saying 'there is nothing to worry about' it is human nature to worry, even though in reality there is 'nothing to worry about'.

If your doctor was to say 'start worrying ' would you then stop worrying, of course you wouldn't.

Therefore if your doctor says, 'there is nothing to worry about, stop worrying because he really means' THERE IS NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT'

Simples**

nothing to worry about means just that, if it was serious your doctor would treat the infection
