Day 4 with out smoking ! How longs it take for the nicotine to leave or body?!

Question: Day 4 with out smoking ! How longs it take for the nicotine to leave or body?
Answers:

It's already left your body, but that doesn't mean the cravings will stop. Your body is used to functioning with nicotine, it has to readjust itself. It also has to become used to breathing in a normal amount of oxygen and increased blood circulation.

Everybody's different. I had withdrawals for MONTHS - so be prepared. You're so much better off without the cigs - and think of the money you save plus your health. But it can be a hard go.

One thing is - the doctor has drugs for this, I think. Or, you can try a little bit of Beachnut Chewing Tobacco from time to time when you can't stand it anymore. This is very mild, leaf tobacco. And there won't be any trouble quitting it once you get past the cigs.

The cigarettes habit is a tough one - it's having, getting, carrying, lighting, smelling, smoking, trying to look cool, stubbing out the cig - it's a LOT of behavior left behind - it isn't just a nicotine addiction although that can be very powerful.

AND THEN, it might not bother you at all to be off the cigs. You might not have any withdrawals.

it is going to take awhile.
like a couple of years. maybe not that long, but it will be awhile.

and good for you by the way!

It took me 48 hours on pain killers without smoking. I was a chain smoker but i had decided that i will quit. It has been over 5 years now without smoking and i am a happy drugfree man.
