I have non-itchy, red dots on my body, anyone know what's wrong?!

Question: I have non-itchy, red dots on my body, anyone know what's wrong?
I have a picture link here on what the red dots look like (It's not a picture of anything bad, I assure you!): http://postimage.org/image/6hcma2ro/

So! I get NEW dots after taking a shower. I think the water I use ranges from warm-hot, but I don't think it's ever scalding hot. The dots first appeared last week, first occurring on my left leg, and then the next outbreak was on my whole tummy, and then the third outbreak was my chest and upper arms. The dots don't itch. They're red and when they heal they turn into a scar. The dots are not raised or bumpy, they feel just like my own skin. They just look unappealing and I want to know what's wrong with me!

I am going to see a doctor sometime this month or next month, but I am just a little worried and would like to know if I can find out a little bit of what's going on with me.

I am sorry for any bad explanations and I thank you in advance!

Answers:

they look like cherry angiomas. it is very common for people and usually start to develop in the late twenties to early thirties. they can develop in the teens and are harmless. unfortunately they do not go away and if desired to be removed, you must use laser therapy (affordable though). if are developing them, it is most like;y there will be more to come for the rest of your life. also most common in caucasian people. i hope this helps.
