Do you think i have breast cancer?!

Question: Do you think i have breast cancer?
I dont know if i have breast cancer. Other than checking for lumps. Does it hurt? Do your breast look different? Is there any difference with the breast inside or out? Or anything else wrong with your body? for example...well the only one i can think of is your hair falling out. Basically are there signs or not. This may seem like a dumb question but Im alittle worried I have yet to get check out. But it will be soon and I know every womans different. Thanks

Answers:

Some women have no idea they have breast cancer until it shows up in a screening mammogram.

It is rarely tender or painful.

There are things that MIGHT indicate breast cancer, a lump, a protruding nipple becoming inverted, a new dimple in the breast, unusual or abnormal discharge, etc.

While these things MIGHT indicate breast cancer, they can also be caused by other things as well.

Hair loss is NOT a symptom, it is a result of some treatments.

If in doubt, see your Dr.

Keep in mind that 80% of those diagnosed are over 50 and 80% of breast lumps investigated are NOT cancer.

Maria, Don't fool around with this. I am a nurse with stage 3 breast cancer. I let other nurses and Dr. tell me don't worry you are to healthy, breast cancer don't hurt, it has to be attached to the chest wall. I heard all kinds of ignorant crap,I did not see a Dr. on a professional basic just asked one I worked with.now they all say i wish you would have got that checked. It's your breast and it's your life. Don't take anyones advice get it checked out.

9/10 of the times you will feel a lump, other sympthoms are change in size, sometimes inverted nipple (but some women are naturally like that) but no women that are diagnosed do not feel pain so get it checked out (even if you seem young to me) but if your fear is to have cancer, breast cancer is not the most dangerous out there so dont worry

Um, No. Breast Cancer doesn't hurt. The only reason your hair will fall out is if you have Chemo. It has nothing to do with Breast Cancer. You don't say if you found any lumps, or have any pain, so there is no way to answer your question.
