Is an ECG (electrocardiogram) an example of radiology?!
Question: Is an ECG (electrocardiogram) an example of radiology?
Answers:
No. Plain radiographs, MRI's, CT's, and other radiographic modalities usually yield a recognizable image of the body. An EKG simply monitors the electrical activity of the heart and presents the information on a graph; there is no recognizable image.

To answer your question as asked, no it is not. Now I will teach a little. As you said MRI's are included with x-rays under the umbrella of Radiology, that is because they both use radiation for their imaging. An ECG (Electro-cardiograph) however uses very low levels of electricity. The patient is connected by a series of wires to a machine that measures the electrical impulses in the heart. Even though you did not ask, I will tell you about the ECH or Echo-cardiograph. This also is not under Radiology, it is basically a sonogram of the heart. Just like a woman has an Ultrasound procedure for her baby, the ECH works the same way but for the heart.
I hope I have helped you.
