Well I got a Question on STD's?!

Question: Well I got a Question on STD's?
So me and my girl had sex for the first time today she promised me she didn't have an STD but its in my head and I'm not sure if she told me the truth or not I didn't see any sores or anything on her vaginal area no rashes or scaring. But its one of those things that just eating away at me and I don't know when I would start seeing symptoms occur. I'm **** broke to go to the doctor and get checked. But I don't know if I should have just believed her and go on with it or what cause I really love this girl I have for almost 6 years I trust her but I also herd things around that I don't believe to be true but I can't be sure nothing can be taken out of perspective. Any ideas on what I can do please help me out. I need some advice!!!

Answers:

Go to planned parenthood or your local health dept and get tested. And have her get tested too. Just because you love someone doesnt make them free of STDs. A lot of STDs dont have physical symptoms... I hope you are using a condom. I am sure its fine - but go get tested - bc if something is up - the earlier you find out - the more they can help. Good luck

Some STDs are hard to detect, and may not cause any symptoms...you could have one for years and not even know it. The really common ones though will present with symptoms 2-14 days after an exposure. If you have any symptoms you should go get checked and most ERs will test you and you can make payments, and sometimes with income they will front the bill. You should use PROTECTION/CONDOMS always even if you love someone, until you are completely sure you are both monogomous, or married or 100 that neither is sleeping around. That is on you with your trust issues. Good luck!
