I've suffered from eating disorders...?!

Question: I've suffered from eating disorders...?
Until I was 15 I had a normal eating habits. For about a year or more I suffered from anoxeria. Now I've suffering from binge eating disorder for about a year. Does anyone have any addivice on how to get my life and eating habits back in order?

Answers:

This is something that you have to always deal with in the back of your head. I developed Anorexia around 13-14 because of all the pressure I dealt with being called fat, even when I wasn't. No matter how thin I got, it wasn't thin enough. Eventually by 18 I was all bones & my hair was falling out, I looked like a little boy naked. You need to of course see a therapist or counselor I would recommend, if you are in a state where medicinal marijuana is legal my doctors recommended at the time that I smoke (but I am very straight edge, I do not even drink - however I listened to my doctors in Vegas and it helped immensely). Usually one eating disorder can lead to another. Binge eating is common after, if you're gaining weight I recommend you find other things to occupy your mind. Like working out a lot & eating healthy, without abusing laxatives, or vomiting.

I can tell you this, I still battle with it, but I replaced all my binge food with healthy food such as those steamer packs of veggies so I don't feel that guilty about having a lb of veggies, especially when they're green (which means low carb) & 100 calories for an entire bag.

I gained weight from a medication, was miserable, finally am losing it. Cymbalta has helped me emotionally along with Xanax and in necessary cases medicinal marijuana which my doctors recommended, it took a lot to get me to listen to them, I don't drive & I am very responsible- I look down upon Stoners (but try not to, I don't believe in abusing drugs not even alcohol or cigarettes, no wine, no beer, nada). If you're in a state where it is legal such as L.A., & Vegas, then by all means I suggest that as well as a LAST resort. I have never been more, content with my body and myself as I am now, although I do slip up into that, "Im disgusting I gained so much weight Im so fat", etc mindset only to find out that I'm thinner than I've been in 3 years, I don't even step on scales anymore. Studies show that women who weigh themselves constantly are more likely to gain weight than those who don't.

Life experience, you didn't really give enough details for me to understand fully. Good luck!
