Tasting chlorox in my mucus...?!

Question: Tasting chlorox in my mucus...?
Well i've been sick for about two and a half weeks and i've had a cough for a long time. iMight have bronchitis, i'm not really sure though. Well, when iCough iTaste like... bleach or chlorox, same difference, but i'm getting annoyed. Because iHave to cough and when i taste the clorox i want to puke. for the past three days my sickness has gotten worse, (my legs feel weak, head hurts, etc.] and iDon't know what's up. People in my school have been getting sick a lot though and my friend has bronchitis, and i never rlly get sick so i'm not used to this, at all. it's weird, iThink iMight have an infection in my throat; but just any recommendations.?

iHaven't been around bleach, clorox or anything related to that at all lately. iWant to go see a doctor but if you can give me some type of advice or ideas it would really help.

Answers:

I have bronchitis too, sounds like you have a problem with that. Or a REALLY bad chest cold with lots of congestion. Also, if you take stuff like lunesta or any allergy medications, in fact lots of medications can cause you to taste stuff like chlorox. I recommend going to the doctor because you could have any number of things, even the flu (I got a flu shot so you probably have bronchitis like me, or at least a chest cold). You don't want it to go any further because you could develop pneumonia which has been killing a lot of people lately, even celebrities.

When you talk to the doctor tell them what you said here, that it hurts when you breath, that your throat hurts terribly, and that you have strange tastes in your mouth reminiscent of bleach whenever you cough. I'm sure a round of Z-pac (sometimes spelled/called Azipac, or Azithromycin
) will most likely work for you fast especially in the last 2 days you take it, don't miss a single dosage even if you feel better!!! They are Antibiotics that work faster and you have to take EXACTLY or else just like with any other antibiotic- if you miss one dose or do it incorrectly you could cause the bacteria inside of you to become immune to the medication & you could be sick much longer than you need to be.

Premed major, also sick with this
