Question: Bowel trouble after sushi?
These include stomach twitching, gas, a full feeling in the rectum like I constantly need to go but can't as well as stomach aches. What could have caused this? The restaurant was part of an official chain and looked hygienic enough?
I'm freaking out right now it's 1am and I just woke up after going to sleep at 11am and fe weird. Please help!

Its partly because you are worrying and partly because your body is not used to eating raw foods especially not sea foods. It is likely to cause upset stomachs but it will give you a runny bum at the worst. Gas and pains will be because your body is digesting the unusual food and you could even be intolerant to sushi.
No matter what the restaurant, sushi is not the best most hygienic food to eat anyway, you'll be fine. Sip some peppermint tea and read a book for an hour or so take your mind off it and you'll be fine :)
you can go see your doctor but there might be a bug in your system called campylobacter,Gastroenteritis,Giardia Rotavirus.
