Question: Why does my bp rises whenever i check with my phyisician?
When ever i check my bp in a mall most of the time i see my reading normal but when i go to check with my doctor it is always on the higher side ..why it is so? Does the reading taken in a mall is incorrect? i am always tensed when ever i go to check with my doctor .Please help me

It is called "white coat syndrome"! Mine does the same! I was on a constant blood pressure cuff in hospital with chest pains. Every time the doctor came near me, it went up! When he went away it went down.
It's a well-known phenomenon called "white coat syndrome", my friend. Your doctor will make allowances for this.
It's because you are nervous. most likely
If you are tensed ,your heart rate will shoot up.
