Can pressing at your temples cause brain damage?!
Question: Can pressing at your temples cause brain damage?
I want a medical expert because I have seen two medical experts that have told me nothing is wrong, it still hurts. Usually when this question is asked which it has before others say that you could die or are in serious mental trouble I'm surmising that they are the ones that don't know a thing about medicine. Though I need clarification. I tried answering this question in Febuary, but the damn site was down. Any thorough answers would be obliged.

This is not a forum for "thorough" answers. People here give quick, gut reaction answers. There is bone at your temples which would prevent you from ever touching any part of your brain. It is possible that you might have bruised the vessel that runs through this area - thus the continued tenderness to the touch. The nausea, blurred vision and constant head pain is coming from a different cause - maybe migraines and taking some tylenol or motrin when this occurs may make this go away. You might consider getting evaluated for migraine headaches which can give all of your symptoms you have described. And, I am not an "expert" but have been in the medical field for many, many years.
