Question: My heart is palpitating once every minute?

I am 17. I am under a lot of stress, but I am always under stress. My heart has been lightly palpitating every minute. I don't have any chest pain or pain in my arm or anything. I'm really scared! My mom wont take me to get it checked. Am I going to die?? How do I make it stop palpitating?

Palpitations do not cause problems with your heart in most cases. You can go to WebMd.com and type in this term and read up on causes of palpitations. They are mostly caused by external causes - too much caffeine, stress, fatigue, some medications, etc. and once you remove the cause, they go away.

I seriously doubt you know what a palpation is. Air tends to come in and out of peoples throat.
You are also having a panic attack. Stop being stupid.

You are probably misreading ur pulse place your hand over your heart or on your neck for an accurate reading. I find it easier then by checking the wrist. If your pulse really was that slow you would likly be dead.
