Question: Can you have planters warts on other parts of your body other than your feet?
I have what seems to be a couple on my right thumb just above the nail, they're both fairly small and they both have little black dots in them.

No. A plantar wart is called that because it is on the plantar aspect (or bottom) of the foot. There are about 80 types of human papilloma virus. The virus that causes warts. Plantar warts look like they do because of the pressure placed on the skin when you walk on the foot. Most warts have black dots. They are blood vessels in the wart.
