I've allergic and I need help finding out what I'm allergic to? HELP?!

Question: I've allergic and I need help finding out what I'm allergic to? HELP?
For almost two weeks, I've those things like mosquito bites on my body, only I know its not mosquito bites. Because sometimes they take the shape of a straight line, its very itchy. I usually have it on my limbs in the morning. But it get really worse at night, where its growing all over my stomach.

My mum take me to the doctor yesterday. The doctor said its cause by allergy. And I should find out what I'm allergic to. She gave me a injection and medicine for toxic and itchiness. She also mention that from the way those bites growing on my chest and around the stomach, it could be Allergy cause by food.

The doctor said food allergy are common in seafood and meats but never onn vegetables. I recalled those meals that I ate for the past few days. My mum and I suspected its cause by chicken meat.

I'm willing to eat chicken to test if that's what I'm allergy to. Do you think its ok? I'm afraid that once I eaten all those mosquito bites will come again

And once you have an allergy, will you still have it for the rest of your life?
Thanks for reading

Allergic responses can change quite a bit throughout your life, so don't worry - an allergy now might just mean you need to avoid something for a while and then you can add it in later ;)

You can be allergic to anything, including fruits and vegetables although those allergies are not as common. The most common allergens are milk, wheat, nuts (legumes...so peas as well), seafood, eggs and soy.

Because it is getting worse at night I have two suspicions: One is that it could be caused by the detergent that your clothes and sheets are being washed in, or the soaps that you are using to shower at night.

My other suspicion is that it might actually be bed bugs. I had a run in with bed bugs when I was staying in a hotel in florida. Every morning I would wake up with more and more bites all over me. They looked like mosquito bites. In fact, that was what the lady at the front desk tried to blame it on until I found a dead bug in my bed and brought it to show her. Considering your "bites" are showing up in lines, it also sounds more like potential bed bugs to me.

Do the bites go away, or are you getting more and more of them? Often hives and rashes from allergies fade and reappear very quickly and easily, whereas bed bug bites would stick around like mosquito bites do.

Get an allergy test at the dermatologist's office. It's a scratch test where they expose you to small amounts of allergens to see if your skin reacts. After you know what you're allergic to you can get allergy injections. Food allergies are "cured" as long as you avoid the food that causes the reaction. Sometimes people grow out of their allergies.

Doctor visits and research.

Those "bites" could be caused by a number of things that I don't think your doctor is taking into account. A new type of soap, perfume, cologne, or washing detergent could be a cause, which is allergy related, but it could also be because of lice, spiders, or fleas. Also, sometimes you are just exposed to histamines from your surrounding environment that don't necessarily make you allergic but lower your immune system's defense for that particular allergy for a short duration of time, therefor giving you a "hysterical" symptom. Try cleaning your sheets without any new detergent, not using any new soaps, shampoos, or perfumes. Also, make sure you wash clothes after you buy them before you wear them, you don't know who put them on before you! But yeah, your doctor could be right and it could be a food allergy, which seems.. unlikely to me, but still possible.. GL with this though.

Educated guesses and speculation.
