how to stop my bad skin?!

Question: How to stop my bad skin?
I don't have acne but my skin is really bad :( I was my face nearly every morning with olay gentle cleanser. I drink lots of water and I ex foliate 1-2 times a week. mostly once because even I do it more than that it can dry my skin out. my skin is combination. I use oil free moisturisers I do everything I can to make sure my skin is ok, but still i have really bad skin. its hard to describe one day it will be all flakey one day shiny one day covered in spots, just really bad skin :(
any suggestions?
sorry for the long paragraph,
no mean comments please:(
thanks in advance xxxxxxxx

I FEEL YOUR PAIN!
I have the EXACT same problem!! one day my skin is really dry, next day really greasy with spots!
so stressful :|
anyway, this is my skin-care routine, and when I do this my skin is so much better
MORNING-
-wash face with anti-bacterial face wash
-use facial toner
-put on sun cream (I always wear sun cream because it protects it from sun damage and the sun cream i use moisturises too :])

EVENING-
-anti bacterial face wash
-toner
-use spot cream on areas with spots if I have any
-moisturise (oil free moisturiser)

a few tips...
-drink LOTS of water, I aim for ten glasses a day... sounds quite a lot but it isn't :]
-always sleep on your back, it keeps your hair out your face and your face can tranfer oil onto your face.
-this sounds stupid, but if you have a patch of dry skin, get some peanut butter, and put a tiny bit on the patch of dry skin and leave it on for an hour. It really works, and I know it sounds stupid, but it's practically a mircale haha ;]

Hope this helps :) x

personal experiance :]

drink more water and dont eat fried or processed foods
