Why do I have so many brown spots?!

Question: Why do I have so many brown spots?
People call them beauty spots and I got them all over my face, arms and legs! My mum said it's because I don't eat anything healthy only junk food do you think that's why? Also my hairs always greasy so I have to wash it every night and my skin is always dry so im always plastering cream all over my face. How do you remove beauty spots too?

Answers:

Your mothers right. Sound weird I know! You can't get rid of the spots you got now unless you pay for laser surgery which costs your neck but you can prevent even more growing by eating a little bit healthier.

Beauty spots are moles..you have moles everywhere? or brown spots? My brown skin spots were caused by deficiency of vitamin B12 deficiency due autoimmune pernicious anaemia. My spots have lessened with treatment but i think laser is what i'll eventually have done to get rid of it. My skin is always dry and i have extremely oily hair and need to wash it everynight. Hypothyroidism can present with dry or oily hair. I have hashimoto's thyroiditis (autoimmune hypothyroidism).

Causes of oily hair can include hormonal changes, genetics, hypothyroidism, vigorous brushing, junk food.

Causes of dry skin can include lacking essential nutrients/poor diet, eczema, hypothyroidism, dry air, soap, using the wrong kind of moisturizer, long, hot showers and baths, medications.

Causes of beauty spots - genetics and sun exposure. If it is hyperpigmented brown spots causes can include sun exposure, pregnancy, liver disease, addison's disease, haemachromatosis, pituitary tumours, B12 deficiency.

Sounds like you spend a lot of time in the sun. I would go see your GP for advice.

Edit: Hhhmm, i don't go in the sun either and only have a couple of moles. Like i say, go see your GP. Moles shouldn't be ignored.
