How do I get rid of acne?!

Question: How do I get rid of acne?
Okay, so my face is oily, and I play soccer. I have never had acne before, but now, randomly, the acne started to come in. I hate using make-up, so I never use it (my BF say's I don't need to either <3), any I'm not really stressed, but I do have oily skin, and tips on how to get my old skin back? + my soccer team has been on tour for a while, so I kinnda need to eat junk food, please help!

Answers:

You play soccer? That's already a great way to get the toxins out of your body. If you don't need make-up, don't use it, I find girls without make-up waaaay more attractive.

Junk food doesn't mean you'll have acne. You just need to eat the right junk food. This theory (of mine) will be contradicted by many, but I'm living proof that my theory works. In my opinion, acne is a result of an acid body. That's because you eat too many acid-forming foods (like meat and dairy).

Now, to know if something is acid or alkaline, you use the PRAL value :
PRAL =
0.49 * protein (g) +
0.037 * phosphorus (mg) -
0.021 * potassium (mg) -
0.026 * magnesium (mg) -
0.013 * calcium (mg)
For example, the PRAL of 100g carrots is -5.71 (you can look most foods up on the website I put in my sources). A negative PRAL is alkaline, zero is neutral and a positive PRAL is acid.
Meat, fish, dairy and lots of good protein sources (whey protein powder) are acidic.

If you go to McDonalds, order french fries, but no hamburger. Order mineral water, no coke (mineral water is always alkaline because of the calcium and magnesium content). French fries are high in minerals, low in protein. Meat isn't.

Try to keep your PRAL as low as possible every day until your skin improves. Then you can be moderate. I recommend eating quinoa, apples, grapes, carrots and dried fruits. These are very good alkaline foods, and they're damn tasty. This doesn't mean you can't eat junk, but eating these foods will make you alkaline faster than other foods, while junk food won't really help. If you HAVE to eat junk food, combine it with really healthy food, like I did today (I ate tons of french fries with tons of vegetables and fruits).

I've done 3 months of testing, I know my stuff. I had mild acne myself, have been eating 100% alkaline for the past two weeks, didn't get 1 pimple. My skin is still recovering though.

You can always drink apple cider vinegar (this is very very very good to make your body alkaline fast), or you can drink 2 lemons in the morning and before going to bed (on an empty stomach), as lemon juice makes your body alkaline very fast too (but drinking it on an empty stomach is way more efficient).

Drinking lots of water makes you more alkaline too.

If you want faster healing, you can put honey (organic honey, no added sugar or heated honey, it shouldn't be the fluid honey) on your skin, or put lemon juice on your zits. This will treat the skin from the outside, which gives faster results. Honey also makes your skin really really soft (my skin is soooo soft all the time, and I'm a guy, but I'm proud of it :) ).

Also, working out (doing sports) or going to the sauna gets rid of bad things in your body fast by sweating it out. It also increases blood flow, making the healing faster. If you sweat, you'll notice your pimples got smaller. Try to keep the exercising long instead of doing very intense things, as blood flow is very important. Learning to breath right helps blood flow too. Cold showers increase blood flow too.

The tip is to cleanse, tone and moisturize.

Cleansing:
Try washing your face with an all natural soap,
rinse that off and use a facial scrub (like St Ives) to ex foliate.
Get some Bicarbonate of Soda, mix that with water to make a little paste
and massage that into the skin. Wash that off and pat your face dry.

Toning:
Using cotton wool and a toner (I use diluted Apple cider vinegar)
wipe all around your face and neck.

Moisturize:
After the toner has dried and your face feels tighter,
apply some light moisturizer, massage into the skin.

Extra tips:
- Drink lots and lots of water
- Eat healthy, lots of greens and veg
- Steaming your face is also great before the routine I've outlined, it opens your pores
