Is it alright to keep having unprotected sex with your partner after you have be!

Question: Is it alright to keep having unprotected sex with your partner after you have been diagnosed with HPV?
Friday I had a punch biopsy and the doctor told me it could be HPV 16 or 18 which are the two that's the worst. I'm just awaiting my test results which should come in sometime this week. I told my partner ans he was pretty understanding about it and looked up more information about it himself. He treats me the same and still wants to be with me, but since we have been having unprotected sex is it alright to keep having unprotected sex since chances are really high that he already has it? My sex drive has changed and I feel kind of nasty and disappointed in myself. He actually is still the same. Oh and how long are you suppose to bleed after the biopsy? Cause I got it Friday and my monthly was suppose to be around this time and now I'm bleeding a lil heavier! Is there a way to actually tell the difference?

Answers:

Short answer is NO! There is a chance he hasn't gotten infected and by continuing to have unprotected sex, you're only maximizing the chances of him getting infected as well.
Your diminished sex drive is a result of your diagnosis, since your stress level is probably sky-high.
Being diagnosed with HPV is not the end of the world, no matter how bleak the outcome looks to you right now. Cervical cancer takes decades to develop and before any cancerous cells develop, your cervix will show signs of scaring, commonly know as pre-cancerous lesions. At this point your doctor will cauterize the wounds and with a good immune system you can live to a ripe, old age without ever having developed cancer.
Unfortunately there is no way to tell the difference, bleeding is bleeding and your flow may be heavier due to stress.
Best of luck to you and hang in there!

is it ok? well, HELL NO. are you stupid, to even ask that question?!!
..............
always tell your mate, before sex, that you have a disease, and name it, and then.........ALWAYS WEAR A CONDOM, and use some anti-germ creme on your penis too. or on the condom. too.

man some people are so stupid
