Ok so a girl who had a coldsore gave me oral sex and now i have a coldsore, and i think i have herpes down there.. is it still considered hsv-1 or is it now considered hsv-2??

Either type of the virus (hsv-1 or hsv-2) can infect either the mouth or the genitals. There's no way of knowing what for sure what type you have where unless an active sore is swabbed and tested.

HSV-1 is cold sores
HSV-2 is genital herpes...which will means that one has "herpes"
