Question: Not sure if this the Flu, a Cold or Mono. If any of you guys have had mono can you tell me if your symptoms?
It started on fairly gradually, first as a sore through then as stomach pains, then I got fatigued, not to the point where I can't move but I'm in a constant state of tiredness from the time I wake up to the time I go to bed. After that I got a never-ending headache, coughing and finally sneezing. I've never had an infection of any kind that has caused fatigue, and I recall mono is notorious for causing fatigue in those unfortunate enough to catch it. I also have heard that it can linger for weeks. I've had these symptoms for about 4 days now, I don't think a doctor visit is in order, they are expensive and none of these symptoms point to anything chronic. If any of you have any insight I'd appreciate it. Thx!

Influenza usually causes joint pain as well. Most colds don't cause intestinal issues.
Mono is certainly possible.

I think you might have a flu, only viral infections cause body malaise/fatigue. It should last not more than 7 days. It must be an influenza strain you haven't contracted.
Have you been taking anything? You just need to boost you immune system for acute viral infections. A lot of Vit C and Zinc. You can get high concentrations of Vit C from citrus fruits, trying making a lemon juice. As for zinc, eat a lot of shell foods...not from Japan ;) or bony parts of beef and pork.
