Question: Dry skin behind my ears ?

Ok so i have dry skin behind my ears. It goes up around half an inch into my scalp. I have has special shampoos from the doctor and Natural shampoos that help a little but after a day it just comes back. It bleeds if I pick at it and its really embarrassing if my hair is up and someone sees it or if its itchy and the flakes of skin get in my hair... I just want to know if anyone knows what this is and if so how can it be treated. What I do is I scrub it in the shower and i put moisturizer on where there is no or little hair and it stays gone for only a couple of hours... It is also really itchy like all the time, so please any help is appreciated and also I have went to the doctor so don't recommend that :)

put lotion on it everyhalf hour. But first put some hydrogen Peroxcide on then let it dry then moisturize it. put the peroxide on once in the mornin and before you go to bed. and neosporin if you must.

Not sure if this is what you have, but the area may be correct. Seborrhoeic dermatitis. I have this and so far, no luck in finding any medicines to work. Mine is on my scalp, but it can be located around the nose, behind the ears, groin, anywhere that hair turns up - scalp. See a dermatologist..they have many different medicaines to prescribe and hopefully you'll get lucky. For some people like me, it does not seem to be getting better. Mine flared up becuase of hormones. I had it during puberty and then it eventually went away, but came back and stayed after I got pregnant. They say also the cold weather aggravates it.
