I've been having some problems breathing?!

Question: I've been having some problems breathing?
So first off, I'm a 15 year old girl.
I'm really bubbly and overall a healthy person. I don't smoke.
I have a Sweet 16 party coming up and about 2 weeks ago, my friends and I were rehearsing a dance in the garage to the point where I got very tired and dizzy.
The next day, I felt like I couldn't take a deep breath. I had pain in my abdominal area.
One of those nights, I woke up and panicked at night cause I couldn't take a deep breath and my hands started shaking and my heart was beating like crazy.
Then a few days later, it calmed down and I breathed decently. I got a sore throat though.
Last Sunday, I went to the doctor and all he did was give me an inhaler and some Cephahexin.
The Cephahexin took care of my sore throat but now I still feel like I can't breath in all the way at some points and I get slight chest pains. I haven't used the inhaler yet.
I've heard that these symptoms could be stress or walking pneumonia or maybe even asthma but the doctor didn't give me a specific diagnosis. I want to go back to the doctor because I feel that he didn't take care of my problem.
Any suggestions as to what I might have? I'm really freaked out.
Also, I still have an appetite and for the most part, I don't feel tired.

taking a stab in the dark, I'd guess you have an allergy-induced asthma....

USE the inhaler the doc gave you... it opens the breathing passages so you breathe better.... and if that works, you can pretty much guess it's asthma , too....

the doc gives you meds to help you... they don't help you if you don't use them!!!..... plus it helps him be more sure of what to diagnose you with.... do it!!.....
