I had a 6cm non invasive breast cancer.?!

Question: I had a 6cm non invasive breast cancer.?
Had mastectomy, chemo and radiation. Nodes were clear. Can anyone relate to that situation?

Answers:

Many people can relate. There are over 100,000 women each year in the USA
with node negative breast carcinomas. I saw hundreds of them.
One of every six patients I saw in medical practice as a cancer specialist
were women with breast cancers, and about half of these hundreds of people
had node negative disease.
A 6cm primary is a bit large for node negative breast carcinoma.
You are saying this was not an invasive ductal adenocarcinoma ?
What type was it on the pathology report - the histology ?

MD hematologist and medical oncologist - cancer and leukemia specialist physician for 20 years
