can kidney stones act like a pancreatic attack?!

Question: Can kidney stones act like a pancreatic attack?
the pain that comes with kidney stones is closely related to a pancreatic attack, is this true?

Answers:

Not really. The pancreas typically causes upper mid abdominal pain, often radiating directly through to the back.
Kidney stones are on ONE side only, and hurt in the flank area, sometimes radiating pain down into the same side lower abdomen or groin. Pushing on the stomach when you have even a large stuck kidney stone, shouldn't cause pain -- much different than pancreatitis which causes a lot of pain when someone pushes on the middle upper stomach.

diabetes causes kidney problems, if that's what you're asking.
